NPS launches “Trooper in a Truck” program

The Nebraska State Patrol and the Nebraska Trucking Association launched a new collaborative safety project. Lt. Kurt Von Minden says troopers will be riding in semis looking for traffic violations and unsafe drivers.  He says truckers are in a very unique position to see behaviors we can’t see in patrol cars.  In a truck they can see down into cars and into other trucks and see behaviors they wouldn’t normally see.  The State Patrol reached out to the Nebraska Trucking Association and they launched the “Trooper in a Truck” program. read more at nebraskaradionetwork.com
